A pretty good start.

So far. It has been a pretty good start to the year. Nice and busy and showing signs of picking up on the work front.

Kids have both had a good break and Ollie has been working really hard for his exams. His first one is in Friday and he is totally ready. Well done to him for al the hard work. Verity has played her part to and been really good about the fact that Ollie has had to work. It makes life easier. No doubt about that.

SD is still upset with me for comments I made during an argument in the summer and has cut off her nose to spite her face by refusing to have any contact with any of us, even though it was me that she had the argument with. She won’t accept my apology or see reason and is blaming me for tearing apart the family that “she built”. The real news is that she didn’t build the family that she is talking about it was Jo and I that did. She is unable to understand that she was, and remains, a part of that family, whether she likes it or not. If she ever recovers enough to see sense then we will be happy to involve her again. Until then I’m sure that the abuse from her will continue. Her emotional blackmail techniques are legendary, if futile, and her most recent actions have only proven what a mean spirited individual she is. For the record I wish her well. I hope that she is able to recover and live a long and happy life. Right now she has thrown away her membership to one side of a very loving and supportive family that wish her no harm whatsoever. That said I am also sure that this is not the end of the matter.
